Facebook’s AR/VR business, including Building 8 and Oculus, bring together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Counsel, Customer Support and Quality Operations who will be responsible for providing tactical and working-level legal counsel across Building 8 and Oculus projects. You will interact closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal team and to work on novel and innovative products in an exciting environment. This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park, CA.
Counsel and advise on a broad range of arrangements and agreements across IT hardware and integration operations, customer support, quality, reliability and failure analysis, and related repair agreements
Assume lead client responsibility and manage legal issues and mitigation related to these areas
Provide strategic business and legal advice to develop a comprehensive, long-term approach to our relationships with key partners
Manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
Actively collaborate with clients, other teams within Legal, and cross-functional teams across the company to coordinate on the above matters
Thrive, innovate and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Develop and manage related training support
J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar
5+ years of legal experience
Experience adapting to changing priorities and organizational needs
In-house experience with hardware technology companies
Technology transaction and hardware operations experience
