We have an opportunity for an experienced immigration associate to join us in Raleigh, NC and assume a major role in our expanding business immigration practice. The immigration practice group employs over 73 immigration attorneys and 124 paraprofessionals. Including all practice and industry groups, the firm has 850 lawyers located in 52 offices across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
Ogletree Deakins has one of the largest Business Immigration practices in the United States and provides a wide range of legal services for employers seeking temporary business visas and permanent residence on behalf of foreign national employees. We provide comprehensive immigration services to clients of all sizes, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. Our practice is designed to provide superior client service at competitive fixed fee rates. Our attorneys are proactive in handling client matters, from case initiation to case strategy/planning to the successful completion of the case, always remaining accessible to all of our clients. Our larger immigration clients tend to be multinational and/or technology focused. Universities and research companies also have significant immigration needs. Juris Doctor - Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
Candidates should possess extensive experience with PERM applications, H-1B, L-1, TN and E visas.
Must have 2 or more years of business immigration experience in a fast paced environment.
Excellent writing, organizational and research skills are required.
