Located just across the street from the beautiful Pasadena Court House our small family-feel multi-disciplined firm practices Corporate Real estate, Family Law, Business Litigation and Trust & Estates law. Known as the law firm to the “Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade” we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Technology Trainer. The ideal candidate will provide support to our attorneys and legal personnel on various legal environment applications and systems, in both a classroom and desk-side setting. We are seeking an energetic self-starter who has the ability to independently manage multiple projects, meet deliverable dates, prioritize and organize effectively. This role maintains a working knowledge of Help Desk policies, procedures, and develops a relationship with a variety of professionals in a respectful and sensitive manner. The Information Technology Trainer proactively helps lead the firm’s paperless initiative and provides ongoing training and support specific to this goal, identifying user concerns and helping bring them to timely resolution. This candidate will be our Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), iManage (our Document Management System) and other legal applications and systems. Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or Word Processor is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Trainer in a law firm or professional services firm • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, iManage (FileSite/Worksite) • Ability to create and deliver application training to attorneys and staff, including creation of handouts and other supporting materials • Strong verbal and written skills, excellent customer service • Creative and resourceful in working with all involved (policies, staff, management) • Personable and approachable, able to work with diverse group of users and communicate effectively with non-technical staff • Experience with remote access technologies such as Citrix, LogMein, VNC, Skype
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will mostly work on a computer at a desk, but may also assist with light office duties such as setting up computer workstations and printers.
