Washington, DC Office - Knowledge Lawyer – Privacy and Cybersecurity/Communications
The Washington D.C. office of Hogan Lovells is seeking applicants for a position to support the knowledge management and business development initiatives of the (i) Privacy and Cybersecurity and (ii) Communications, Internet, and Media practice groups. The Knowledge Lawyer role includes creating and maintaining model documents and precedents; training and educating lawyers on resources available to them; preparing high quality training materials for internal and external presentations and events and keeping lawyers up to date on market developments. The Knowledge Lawyer will collaborate with firm billing lawyers and various business services teams, including marketing and business development, learning and development, and research intelligence and information technology. The Knowledge Lawyer position is a non-associate and non-partner track position and has no billable-hour requirements. Candidates should have a high level of competence in writing, research, and interpersonal skills and should be motivated to work independently.

Our lawyers have worked at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), giving us the intimate knowledge we need to help our clients.
Candidates must have a J.D. from a U.S.-accredited law school, excellent academic credentials, and a minimum of five years of law firm, or equivalent, practice with experience in Privacy and Cybersecurity and/or Communications Law. Candidates must be admitted to the D. C. Bar. The Knowledge Lawyer role is a full time position with excellent benefits.
