The role of the Information Governance (IG) Administrative Specialist is to provide assistance to the Information Governance Department, ensuring a high level of administrative, technical, and professional support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Generate and maintain various high-level reports as needed or requested. •Assist in coordinating completion of various tasks associated with departing lateral personnel. •Assist in coordinating procedures regarding the drafting, issuance, and communication of, and compliance with, Legal Holds involving firm matters. •Process vendor invoices regarding records storage and service and shredding program. •Track and maintain analysis of invoices for evaluation of trending offsite storage cost. •Maintain specialized and custom forms as well as the reports that support the IG processes. •Update and maintain spreadsheets requiring data interpretation and analysis. •Provide assistance to Information Governance staff as necessary. •Ability to discretely handle sensitive and confidential matters and records. •Additional administrative support responsibilities as assigned.
•3+ years of professional experience. •Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Relativity, and iManage. •Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. •Ability to prioritize and adapt to change as well as work on multiple projects at once. •Effective oral and written communication skills as well as listening and strong attention to details skills. •Ability to interact effectively with Firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism. •Excellent organizational skills.
