Cooley is seeking a Legal Education Assistant to join its legal education function. The Legal Education Assistant will be a part of the Professional Development team responsible for working with all practice groups across the firm to implement legal skills training and ensure compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and other regulatory requirements for all firm lawyers. The Legal Education Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to Legal Education and CLE Compliance. Duties will include responsibility for travel arrangements and expense reimbursements, departmental invoices and check requests, and scheduling of team meetings, conference calls, and other appointments as requested. The Legal Education Assistant will also be responsible for data entry, CLE tracking, form and certificate preparation, and will assist in the planning and coordination of lawyer training programs.
Candidates must have previous general office experience and computer skills. Preferred candidates will have prior law firm experience. Ideal candidates will be proficient in learning management systems, CE Manager, viDesktop+CLE and has working knowledge of CLE rules (CA, NY, VA).
