Dechert LLP is seeking a Recruitment Assistant to provide administrative support in the department that manages all aspects of the summer, entry level, and lateral associate hiring program. This position has sole responsibility for support of on-campus interviewing (OCI) preparation, execution, and follow-up, among other Legal Recruiting-related duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist the Global Director of Recruiting, Assistant Director of Talent Strategy and Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting with day-to-day and firm-wide projects, including but not limited to survey requests, historical statistical requests, and data management.
Firm Wide Projects
Maintain firm-wide recruiting calendar and tracking documents.
Partner with marketing to update brochures, and design sponsorship advertisements & invitations.
Update and edit the Dechert Careers website.
Manage content for the Recruiting intranet website.
Track law firm news (salary, hiring trends, etc).
Store and mail marketing materials for sponsorships & events.
Prepare firm-wide letter templates (offer, rejection, & welcome letters).
Assist with summer associate onboarding and orientation planning.
Manage file retention policy for talent team.
Assist with fall associate onboarding.
Manage data, reports, and templates on the recruiting database.
Provide support in conducting data audits and maintenance check-ups
Prepare firm-wide OCI materials for attorney interviewers, including interview binders, evaluation forms, and hiring guidelines.
Mail marketing materials and supplies for on campus interviews.
Manage firm-wide OCI statistics and prepare end of year reports.
Prepare check requests.
Coordinate travel with Concur.
Assist smaller offices with OCI processes, procedures and LawCruit data entry.
Assist US Recruiting team with day to day activities, including but not limited to: updating candidate files, greeting callback candidates, compiling review packets for HC Meetings, preparing offer and rejection letters, and updating LawCruit profiles and status.
Create firm-wide Summer Associate Guide and “Facebook” Directory.
Prepare end of summer review packets (resumes, transcripts, & evaluations) for hiring decisions.
Assist with firm-wide summer associate program events and training programs.
Assist smaller offices with Summer Program processes and procedures.
Performs any and all duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm.
Law Firm experience preferred.
Knowledge of the Firm’s policies and procedures.
Detail-oriented and shows initiative.
Ability to prioritize own work.
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically
Good grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems
Ability to juggle multiple tasks

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Systems preferred: Workday, Concur, iManage, and LawCruit.
