Hennepin County District Court is seeking to fill a Judicial Referee position in our Family Court. The appointment will be made by the Hennepin County District Court Chief Judge.
This position supports the Branch's mission of serving individuals and families by increasing access to justice for all citizens in the State of Minnesota.
This position will be located in the Family Justice Center, downtown Minneapolis. This position may be reassigned to other areas of the court as needed.
Admission to the Bar of the State of Minnesota; eligibility to practice law before the courts of the State of Minnesota.
A combined five years' experience as either an Attorney representing and/or advising clients in practice, or as a Judicial Officer
Experience as an attorney representing clients or as a judicial officer, in Family or Juvenile Court proceedings.
Fair, impartial, and sensitive to the needs of the diverse population the Court serves
Works well under pressure with demonstrated time-management and problem-solving skills
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Has a broad organizational perspective to improve the administration of justice in Hennepin County District Court
