The Litigation Technology Analyst will report to the Litigation Technology Manager and Director of Legal Technology and will work collaboratively with other members of the Litigation Technology Team and the other members of the eMerge group. The Litigation Technology Analyst will be responsible for supporting the firm’s lawyers and clients with regard to technical aspects related to the handling, processing, creation, maintenance, and support of litigation data, databases and other related activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Analyst may have some or all of the following responsibilities:
Handling of data and documents received including maintaining tracking logs for data received and loaded, chain of custody and an inventory of Media received for each project
Processing and filtering of native electronic documents using Relativity, Nuix, LAW Prediscovery, IPRO and other industry specific software and tools in order to prepare documents to be imported into a review database and withhold documents that are not needed
Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting litigation databases such as Relativity, Concordance, Casemap, Textmap, Livenote and other litigation technology software. Tasks may include: data normalization, global edits, de-duplication, merging data into existing records, indexing and packing databases, generating cross-reference reports
Work with Project Managers to customize databases and develop solutions to address matter or project specific needs
Creating, importing and exporting document productions
Checking the quality and content of files from vendors, clients, and other third-party sources for loading into litigation support applications
Checking the quality of processed documents and productions
Providing application support and troubleshooting assistance to users
Providing support and technical assistance with the design, development and implementation of database systems such as Relativity, Concordance, Casemap, and similar products
Document and maintain activities in project management database including time spent on projects and project status

EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree
