CHIEF DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL – Posted February 23, 2021
Attorney General Maura Healey is seeking a Chief Deputy Attorney General to join her leadership team. The Chief Deputy Attorney General (Chief Deputy) is responsible for working closely with others on the senior team to oversee and support the work of the Office’s bureaus and divisions; advising the Attorney General; and working with other Attorneys General, as well as other state and federal offices and agencies.
Primary Duties: The Chief Deputy will serve as a senior advisor to Attorney General Healey on a wide range of legal and policy matters, advance office priorities, and provide ongoing support to attorneys and staff across the Office. The Chief Deputy will also serve as the Office’s liaison to other Attorneys General offices. The Chief Deputy is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Office’s bureaus and divisions and should demonstrate a strong capacity for executive decision making and leadership. The position requires the highest level of integrity, judgment, a commitment to excellence in law and public service, and a passion for teamwork and respect in a diverse and fast-paced office.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Juris Doctor degree with a minimum of 10 years of legal experience;
