The Lateral Recruiting Coordinator will support the lateral attorney recruiting functions across the firm’s 24 offices and will be an integral part of ensuring the successful full cycle recruitment of lateral candidates. The Lateral Recruiting Coordinator will interface regularly with partners, associates, search firms, candidates, and professional staff, and be a representative of the firm. A successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication; time management; organizational skills; the ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism; the ability to turn concepts and visions into actions; and has experience working both independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Work closely and pro-actively with the Director of Legal Recruiting and Lateral Recruiting Managers to implement firm-wide lateral recruiting directives and programs, including gathering and maintaining competitive data, supporting diversity recruiting initiatives, and other duties as they relate to lateral recruiting.
Assist in the initiation of lateral searches, including posting jobs internally and externally and communicating with internal stakeholders and search firms.
Pre-screen resumes for qualified candidates.
Coordinate interview schedules, and distribute and collect interviewer evaluations.
Communicate candidacy updates to applicants and search firms.
Track candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure the completion of all pre-hire due diligence.
Support Lateral Recruiting Managers in developing and producing recruiting materials, generating reports, and maintaining the applicant tracking system.
Maintain and update recruitment content on the firm’s LinkedIn page, Careers blog, external website, email marketing platforms, and other related recruiting materials.
Track and provide necessary metrics, reports, and firm-wide project outcomes as needed.
Prepare and maintain search firm fee agreements.
Process expense reimbursements and invoices.
Work collaboratively with the Legal Talent & Development Department and other departments of the firm.
A bachelor’s degree in related field required.
A minimum of one (1) year of recruiting experience in the professional services industry or within a legal search firm required; prior law firm experience recruiting lateral attorneys preferred.
Experience with viRecruit or equivalent Applicant Tracking System preferred.
Experience working with Leopard List or a similar attorney sourcing platform is preferred.
Must be able to work occasional extended hours during busy periods and travel when needed.
