Job Description
The Ethics & Compliance, Ventures & Acquisition Compliance Manager collaborates with Ethics & Compliance, Ventures & Acquisitions Compliance/Post-Merger Integration Lead and E&C subject matter experts to conduct compliance risk assessment and oversee implementation of mitigation actions for acquisitions through lifecycle of the deal, from compliance risk assessment during legal due diligence through post-merger integration (PMI) to go-live/SAP cutover. The Ethics & Compliance, Ventures & Acquisitions Compliance Manager coordinates with SMEs, V&A Legal Leads and Legal Integration Leads, as necessary, during V&A deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial compliance risk assessments with guidance from subject matter experts during Legal due diligence phase and triage future support needs

Align with V&A Legal Leads and subject matter experts regarding assumptions and appropriate level/scope of Legal compliance due diligence

Act as first-tier point of contact for V&A Legal Leads to help direct questions to appropriate subject matter expert(s)

Escalate compliance issues, as necessary

Compile and review due diligence materials to share with subject matter experts; monitor for relevant due diligence updates

Consult with subject matter experts on development of PMI plan for each acquisition

Lead implementation of PMI plan actions in coordination with relevant teams

Prepare reporting on PMI plan status for Legal Integration Checkpoint meetings

Identify trends and emerging compliance issues or potential risks related to V&A

Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, V&A Legal Leads, Legal Integration Leads and other teams involved in V&A

Relationships: Global Ethics & Compliance Team and other Legal and Corporate Functions teams

Knowledge of compliance and ethics framework for global corporations, preferably in connection with mergers and acquisitions and/or post-merger integration

Certification: Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar ethics and compliance certification (or willingness to obtain certification once hired)

Strong analytical/critical thinking skills, including ability to exercise judgment to evaluate risks and calibrate clear and concise recommendations within context of integration approaches and other relevant business considerations

Good business acumen, knowledge of Accenture’s business strategy (or similar business strategy at another company if experienced hire) and offerings

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $73,764 - $170,100 and information on benefits offered is here.
