Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead healthcare legal strategy in coordination with C+V Health President.
• Advise the President and other executive team members on a variety of healthcare related legal and regulatory issues.
• Develop and maintain legal interactions with relevant local, state and federal regulatory contacts across multiple states.
• Work closely with outside counsel on administrative and court litigation matters, as necessary.
• Resolve pre-litigation disputes, litigation and agency matters, with outside counsel, as necessary.
• Legal review and analysis of innovative business solutions for a high-growth business.
• Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence on target acquisitions for C+V Health.
• Draft and review health care agreements and related service agreements with vendors.
• Provide and coordinate regular risk audits and develop ongoing compliance initiatives in close work with the Compliance Officer.
• Have the ability to grow a legal team at the right time as the company grows.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years’ experience as an attorney with a dedicated focus on healthcare law and regulations.
• Experience interacting with health care regulatory agencies.
• Experience working in a matrix environment with shared services functions a plus.
• Enjoys a fast-paced, startup environment.
• We are looking for someone who may not have all the answers but is eager to figure them out.
• JD from accredited law school.
