Our firm focuses primarily on Latin American political asylum and immigration cases. The candidate will: · Represent clients in immigration cases before government agencies and in court proceedings · Prepare legal documents such as applications, petitions, appeals, motions and waivers · Research and analyze complex immigration law issues · Provide legal advice and counsel on all aspects of immigration law · Communicate with clients regarding their immigration matters · Monitor changes in immigration law and advise clients accordingly · Develop strategies to resolve immigration-related problems
