The MTAS legislative legal consultant provides professional advice and technical assistance to Tennessee municipalities, as well as to, related state government, association, and affiliate stakeholders. A portion of this consultant's work will focus on the municipal impact of legislative action and related policy issues in cooperation with the Tennessee Municipal League. This consultant also conducts research, develops and maintains timely technical reports and publications on critical issues, develops and teaches training courses, and assists other consultants in the agency in the performance of individual and team projects.
