Holland & Hart is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join a Jackson Hole-based team of attorneys with overlapping practices in environmental and workplace safety, as well as complex commercial litigation.
Our team members have high-caliber national and regional practices, while living in world-famous Jackson Hole. We routinely handle large consequential regulatory enforcement actions nationwide, as well as high-stakes disputes, regionally and in Wyoming. Many of us practiced at large global firms in major cities before taking the opportunity to set up our lives and practices in this amazing mountain community.
Position Requirements
Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of experience in litigation and/or regulatory experience from top-tier law firms. Candidates must be enthusiastic and detail-oriented, with the ability and desire to thrive on teams. In addition, candidates should have excellent writing, research, and communication skills. Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) or EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) is a significant plus, though not required.
Compensation and Expectations
Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based. You will be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements, and on your contributions to the team’s efforts.
Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work. Associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Holland & Hart expects associate attorneys to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours. Contributions to the life of the firm are vital to the collective success of the firm, and we encourage our lawyers to engage in ways each person finds meaningful through various committees and firm activities.
